Owyhee Gem Picture Jasper Bolo
Owyhee Gem Picture Jasper Bolo
A coveted piece of old stock Owyhee Gem picture jasper is shaped into a high end cabochon. The stone is breath taking. Originally mined in the foothills of the Owyhee mountains in Eastern Oregon/Southern Idaho, the stone encases an unforgettable landscape reminiscent of the area it was created. The master lapidarist and miner captured the raw beauty of the desert hills and blue skies in this piece.Â
Set in fine and heavy sterling silver the pendant slides on a 31" sterling silver chain with fire sculpted silver nugget bolo tips. The Owyhee Gem jasper measures over 2" in length. The bolo can be worn high on the neck or low and will not slide off. One-Of-A-Kind.
Finished with my maker's mark "ELECTA" and "925", oxidized, and hand polished to a high shine.
