Natural Baltic Amber is shaped into a domed cabochon with a 16mm diameter. The cabochon is set in fine and sterling silver on a split prong double sterling silver band. One-of-a-kind. Handmade.
Baltic Amber is estimated to be up to 50 million years old. It is fossilized tree resin from the Baltic region. As a naturally occurring substance and one of the oldest forms of resin, it is highly admired for its rarity of inclusions.Â
Finished with my maker's mark "ELECTA" and "925", hand polished to a high shine.
